<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CMOS image sensor capable of improving a dynamic range. <P>SOLUTION: The CMOS image sensor is provided with a pixel array composed of a plurality of unit pixels which are arrayed into an array form and respectively have a photo diode, and a first transistor for a source follower buffer amplifier to output electric charges accumulated in the photo diode while amplifying them.
