PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for converting into a hardware description language convertible easily and accurately. SOLUTION: In this method for converting a hardware component graph into the hardware description language, a VHDL programming code is generated automatically. In the method, first of all, the hardware component graph is read, and a start node of the hardware component graph is searched for, and a corresponding sub-hardware component graphic is acquired. Then, information of the start node is analyzed, and each component of inlet and outlet is added, to thereby generate an entity of the hardware description language. Successively, the type of the node in the hardware component graph is determined, and a corresponding VHDL component is generated, and correlation data are written in an architecture of the hardware description language. Thereafter, information connection of the VHDL component is generated, based on a connection line in the hardware component graphic.
