A device for connecting guiders and a detector for detecting surface flaws of a hot rolled wire rod is provided to improve a detection accuracy of the surface flaws of the hot rolled wire rod by preventing an external electric current from being transmitted to a detector for detecting whether a surface of the hot rolled wire rod is defective or not from the guiders or a base. A device(1) for connecting guiders and a detector for detecting surface flaws of a hot rolled wire rod comprises: first guide side detector connecting unit(10) which are closely adhered between a detector(130) for detecting the surface flaws of the hot rolled wire rod and input and output side guiders(210,220) of the detector and made of a nonconductor for cutting off transmission of an external electric current to the detector through the guiders; and second base side detector connecting unit(30) which are placed and fixed onto a base(232) for fixing the guiders, have the detector placed on inner sides thereof, and are made of a nonconductor for cutting off transmission of an external electric current to the detector through the base.
