SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECORDING AND REPRODUCING HOLOGRAPHIC INTERFEROGRAM WITH OPTICAL SERVO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for recording and reproducing a holographic interferogram with a servo.

SOLUTION: A servo process is provided by the system and the method to record the holographic interferograms continuously in a holographic storage medium with a servo trace layer. Reproducing signals are rapidly and correctly captured by the servo process. Intensity distribution of a reference beam is monitored by the servo process and the standard beam is reflected by a reflection mirror disposed on the other side of the holographic storage medium and transmitted by the holographic storage medium. The distance and the incident angle between the reflection mirror and the reference beam can be adjusted by analyzing the distribution. A plurality of servo tracks at a plurality of different layers are provided for recording holographic interferograms in the plurality of different layers of the holographic storage medium.
