<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle base member so that a smooth worked surface having high squareness without generating any cracks in a dowel part provided for a guide for a tongue to be inserted or a guide when a latch member is expanded in a collision or the like or a load supporter, is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: When dowel parts provided on both walls of a buckle base member are pressed by using a punch 2 and a die 3, the die clearance is set to be in a range of the so-called negative clearance of -30 to -5%, in which the length or the diameter of the punch 2 is set to be larger than the length or the diameter of the die 3. Even in the dowel part forming of the height of (0.70 to 0.95)×t, where t denotes the thickness of the buckle base member, the dowel part having the shear section length of≥25% of the plate thickness and the shear section starting height of≥70% can be easily obtained by employing the negative clearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
