<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink which has a low manufacturing cost, extends the life of a motor to improve reliability, obtains sufficient cooling performance, and is easy to design. <P>SOLUTION: The heat sink comprises: a heatsink main body 20 having a bottom surface that contacts a heat generating component; a cooling fan 11 comprising blades and a motor; and a cover 21 that fixes the fan to the heatsink main body. The cover is provided with members for setting a distance, so that the distance A from the bottom surface of the cover at ends of the heatsink main body to the upper surface of the heat sink main body can be shorter than the distance B from the bottom surface of the cover just below the fan to the upper surface of the heatsink main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
