PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic molded article having high heat resistance and high stiffness and also being environmentally friendly which is made by using a resin from a biomass raw material. SOLUTION: Molded article 1 is a member, for example, for constituting an image output instrument, and a surface part (a skin layer) 2 is made of a resin from a petroleum type raw material and a central part (a core layer) 3 is made of a resin from a bio-mass raw material. As the skin layer 2 is made of the petroleum type raw material resin with a high strength, the stiffness of the molded product 1 can be insured, even if the member composing the core layer 3 is made of a resin from a bio-mass raw material with a low strength. The thickness of the skin layer 2 and the core layer 3 can be appropriately set up according to a required strength. The bio-mass raw material resin constituting the core layer 3 is especially desirable to have a crystallinity of at least 0.7, by which a strength of the core layer 3 is improved. The molded product 1 can be made by, for example, a sandwich molding. In this case, it is more preferable to add a reinforcing filler, a crystalline nucleus agent, a flame retardant agent or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
