PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sector drive device and its assembling method which are capable of efficiently and easily performing the assembling work of the sector drive device and suppressing assembling cost. SOLUTION: A pair of positioning pins 16e and 16e of an electromagnetic actuator 10 are fitted into the positioning holes 2a and 2a of a shutter base plate 2 from the front side of the shutter base plate 2, so that the electromagnetic actuator 10 is positioned and fixed with respect to the shutter base plate 2. In addition, shutter blades 20a and 20b, a diaphragm blade 20c, a diaphragm plate 3 and a blade pressing plate 4 are attached from the front side of the shutter base plate 2.
