LIGHTING UNIT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit with which natural lighting can be efficiently made without providing a moving mechanism for following the sun and which can be manufactured in a compact size and at a low cost. SOLUTION: The lighting unit is provided with a planar body 10 and a diffraction optical element 11 formed on the upper surface of the planar body 10 and converges light which is made incident on the diffraction optical element 11 from various directions and emits the light from an end face of the planar body 10. Thereby natural light such as the sun light can be efficiently made to light without providing the moving mechanism. Further the unit can be made smaller in size to a degree of providing no moving mechanism. Further the lighting unit can be manufactured at a low cost by integrally forming the planar body 10 and the diffraction optical element 11 by using a transparent material such as an acrylic resin.
