PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for cleaning an ion-exchange resin capable of certainly cleaning the ion-exchange resin in a condensate demineralizing tower in a short time, with a simple constitution, and with a small amount of cleaning water. SOLUTION: The device for cleaning an ion-exchange resin comprises: a blow means for draining the water in the condensate demineralizing tower 1 to a predetermined water level higher than the top surface of an ion-exchange resin layer; a resin mixing means for supplying air for mixing resin into the condensate demineralizing tower 1 to mix the ion-exchange resin 2; and a resin cleaning means for cleaning the ion-exchange resin 2 by repeating water filling and drainage from the condensate demineralizing tower 1.
