The method involves providing a contact cell (1) with a cutting clamp and for fixing an end of an electrical cable in a contact chamber of the contact cell. The contact cell is manufactured from plastic in a generative process in such a manner that the contact cell is arranged in layers from an amorphous raw material under irradiation with light, where the raw material is a photo-reactive polymer. A radiation takes place with an ultraviolet light and directed and focused light beam depending on the computer aided design (CAD)-data. An independent claim is also included for a contact cell comprising a contact carrier.
