SCRAMBLING OF DATA AND PILOT SYMBOLS OF MACRO-DIVERSITY OFDM TRANSMISSIONS

摘要

Diversity transmission of broadcast OFDM information scrambling is used to separate at the receiver the multiple transmission and estimate each of the associated channel response. All symbols of a group consisting in one pilot symbol and its neighbouring data symbols are multiplied by the same complex number so that at the receiver no descrambling operation is needed. Scrambling process and channel response are estimated and equalized together.
