The method involves providing a sequence of plots, where value of a plot parameter is monotonously increased or decreased over the whole sequence. The sequence of plots such as film, is indicated, where a provision of corresponding film data is provided preceded to a play-back of the film. The play-back of the film is interrupted by a user at a position during the play-back of the film, at which graphs in the indication represent a desired appearance, where the value of the plot parameter is the value of the plot parameters of another plot.
