<p>Cell comprises a silver/silver chloride electrode in a saturated crystal-free electrolyte separated by a porous partion from a platinum cathode in crystal-containing electrolyte. One end of the anode cell is sealed by an oxygen permeable membrane contacting with the test soln. e.g. blood samples, held in a constant volume truncated cone sealed into the housing by an annular lip joint and ring seal. The sample is fed in via ports in the base of the cone and a vent may be fitted to relieve pressure in the anode compartment.</p> |
