The toothbrush has a body formed with a base of reduced dimensions, and with a storage portion for storing a replaceable toothpaste cartridge and another storage portion for storing the brush portion. A rotating arm extension is connected to the discharge conduit of the base, such that the arm extension can be opened to act as a handle and closed to cover the brush portion. The discharge conduit is connected to the fuse of the cartridge for discharging toothpaste from the cartridge towards the bristles of the brush portion. The cartridge and the brush portion are replaceable. A small spindle and a roller for outer drive are used for sliding a piston to control the discharge of toothpaste towards the discharge conduit. The arm extension is formed with a hollow structure.
