A method of manufacturing a bed soil composition for use in organic farming having antifungal properties is provided. The composition is has good water and fertilizer holding capacity, makes it easy to administer plant diseases and insect pests, is convenient to handle and increases crop yield. The bed soil composition comprises: (A)60 to 85% by weight of main material; (B)12.5 to 37.5% by weight of moisture; and (C)2.5 to 3.5% by weight of functional material. The main material contains 12 to 45% by weight of vermiculite, 6 to 13% by weight of Coco Peat, 6 to 13% by weight of humus soil, 15 to 23% by weight of diatomaceous earth, 18 to 27% by weight of loess, 4 to 7% by weight of perlite and 6 to 15% by weight of zeolite. The functional material contains 3.3 to 8.8% by weight of wood vinegar, 23 to 53.91% by weight of nitrogenous guano, 11 to 14.3% by weight of humic acid, 22 to 34.1% by weight of Unkiseok(natural stone), 1.1 to 2.2% by weight of Sophora flavescens extract, 1.1 to 2.2% by weight of seaweed powder, 1.32 to 4.4% by weight of chitosan, 5.5 to 8.8% by weight of sulfur powder and 0.77 to 2.2% by weight of Yucca schidigera extract. The bed soil composition is prepared by the steps of steaming vermiculite, Coco Peat and humus soil; adding the remaining components of the main material along with moisture and functional material; grinding; and sorting.
