A plasma display device is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by forming a buffer layer in a film-type filter or separately forming a buffer layer on a film-type filter. A plasma display device includes a panel(100) having a front substrate(110) and a rear substrate(120), and a film-type filter(200) attached on a front surface of the panel. The film-type filter has an electromagnetic shielding layer(210) and a buffer layer(240), and the buffer layer is formed on the front surface of the film-type filter. The film-type filter further has an anti-reflective layer(230) or a near-infrared nontransparent layer(220).
