The optical component is constructed as a refractive or diffractive component or a combination of both, and is arranged for performing defocusing and symmetric rotation aberrations to partially or totally cancel the aberrations in an optical system. The optical component can be used in any image forming system to form an image with great center depth by compensating customized intraocular lens or contact lenses.
