The composition has good coloring properties and stability against external agents, particularly against shampoos. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: (I) or (II) is present at 0.01-20 wt.%. The non-fluorescent direct dye is nitrated benzene-, azo-, azomethine-, methane-, anthraquinone-, naphtoquinone-, benzoquinone-, phenotiazine-, indigoid-, xanthene-, phenanthridine-, phthalocyanine- and/or triarylmethane dye or their derivatives. The oxidation base is p-phenylenediamine, bisphenylalkylenediamine, p-aminophenols, o-aminophenols, heterocyclic bases or their additive salts of an acid or a base. The coupler is m-phenylenediamine, m-aminophenol, m-diphenol, heterocyclic coupler or additive salts of an acid or a base. The oxidant is hydrogen peroxide, urea peroxide, alkaline metal bromates, persalts or enzymes.
