The machine has an electronic processing system (100) programmed to control preparation devices, having a drilling and trimming device (6), a location characteristic measuring unit (5) and a transferring, capturing and contacting unit (7), based on a main instruction sequence. A detecting unit detects a cut in a main power supply (10) and delivers a signal to the system, and an auxiliary power supply supplies the devices during a limited duration after the cut. The system is programmed to control one device, after the detection of the cut, based on an auxiliary instruction sequence.
