The vehicle has a reinforced housing for an active crash bar (8) with a case (19) which is mounted so as to rest on a lower crosspiece (2) through a parallelepiped shaped elastic or viscoelastic wedge (20). The wedge has a stiffness which is adapted so that suitable vibration frequency of the bar is equal to suitable frequency of a vibration mode of a case of vehicle in torsion around a longitudinal axis of a vehicle.
