The optics (22) is formed of a transparent or semi-transparent enclosure comprising an inner surface that is polished to favor the transmission of light emitted by an LED (24) within the enclosure while allowing light rays to traverse the thickness of the enclosure. The enclosure has an outer surface comprising a bar stippling permitting to diffuse the light towards the exterior in a homogeneous manner, where the stippling is produced by mold etching or spark machining.
