The device has a rigid insert (11) covered by an elastomer body (12) and presenting a hollow part supporting a stop (26). The insert is an extruded part including outer side channels that extend in one direction and delimited in another direction perpendicular to the former direction between an inner wall and an outer wall. The outer wall limits the insert towards the outside. A rectangular shaped cut (24) is arranged in the outer wall to form the hollow part and is traversed by the stop. An independent claim is also included for a method of fabricating a connection device.
