PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for manufacturing a cast product, which component can prevent the generation of the blow-back in casting, and can suitably manufacture the cast product. SOLUTION: The component for manufacturing the cast product contains an inorganic fiber, organic fiber, thermosetting resin, papermaking binder, and a sulfonate or/and cellulose series dispersing agent, and generates combustion gas of 250 L/m<SP>2</SP>or less at 1,000°C.
