PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cleanser composition for tableware high in cleansing power on oil stains, excellent in foamability and low irritancy and having good storage stability. SOLUTION: The liquid cleanser composition for tableware comprises (a) a polyoxyethylene fatty acid amide, (b) an alkyl ethoxysulfate mixture and (c) an alkyl ethoxylate and/or (d) a higher alcohol in the weight ratio:(c+d)/(b+c+d) of 0.01-0.2. In this composition, the component b comprises, based on the total mass of the component b, 15-35 mass% of a first compound of formula (II) and 55-75 mass% of a second compound of formula (II); wherein when each n<SB>3</SB>of the first and second compound whose mass% represents the maximum value is defined as n<SB>3MAX</SB>, n<SB>3</SB>of the first compound is n<SB>3MAX</SB>(not zero) and n<SB>3</SB>of the second compound falls within the range between n<SB>3MAX</SB>-1 and n<SB>3MAX</SB>+1.
