PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one side chuck device reducing burden to an arm and enhancing durability of the arm. SOLUTION: The one side chuck device 1 is provided with one side arm 16 of a pocket of a star wheel; an arm drive shaft 8 parallel to a rotation axis of the star wheel and a rather on a rotation axis side of the star wheel than the pocket; drive shaft rotation means 27, 31 for driving an arm drive shaft 8 around the axis; an arm support shaft 10 arranged at one side parallel to the arm drive shaft 8 and supporting the arm 16; a first interlocking means 9 for moving the arm support shaft 10 interlocking with rotation of the arm drive shaft 8 between an advancement position and a retreating position retreated more than it; and a second interlocking means for rotating the arm 16 around the arm support shaft 10 interlocking with the arm support shaft 10 such that a distal end of the arm 16 is displaced to the other side when the arm support shaft 10 is moved from the retreating position to the advancement position.
