PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ride comfort without hindering run flat durability. SOLUTION: The run flat tire 1 is provided with a toroidal carcass 6 formed from a tread part 2 to a bead core 5 of a bead part 4 through a side wall part 3 and a side reinforcing rubber 9 having a nearly crescent cross section and arranged inside the carcass 6. The side reinforcing rubber 9 is formed from a strip layered body 9m formed by coiling a rubber strip around a tire rotary shaft. The rubber strip contains at least a first rubber strip 11 and a second rubber strip 12 having a different complex modulus of elasticity and arranged each other in the tire radial direction.
