The invention relates to a selection and combination invention in which special pairs are selected from two or three lists and are combined such that an unexpected effect is created, tetraorganosilicon compounds being selected for the treatment of diseases characterized by a uniform effect of the molecular patterns of a pathogen selected among the group of degenerated cells, viruses, or bacteria or the uniform effect of the reaction of the immune system thereto. The selected tetraorganosilicon compounds are used as an immunotherapeutic, preferably together with compounds selected among the group of substances that bond to nucleic acids and inhibit nucleic acid synthesis, particularly DNA synthesis or RNA synthesis in an organism, e.g. in a cancer cell, or DNA synthesis or RNA synthesis in a virus or bacterium, comprising oxoplatin, arsenic oxides, foscarnet, and/or antisense molecules. |
