A residential monitoring system (10) incorporates both physiological sensors (Sl-SN) and activity sensors ((12a-12f). Some of the sensors (Sl-SN) can be in wireless communication with control circuitry (20). One or more activity profiles can be established for resident to expand upon and supplement information from the physiological sensors.
