The hanging has holes (3) provided at a section, which is attached to an upper edge (2) of the hanging. Oblong hanging structures pass through the holes. The holes are separated from one another in a longitudinal direction of the edge. Edge strips (4) of a machine-knit material, enclosing the holes, are turned downwards for formation of a channel. The strips are connected with a material section by a seam (6), in the region of the lower edge of the hanging.
