The mass has a mixture as an additive, where the mixture has a compound and a ketone. The compound is methacrylate with carbon atoms that can have multiple alkoxy, carbonyl, carboxyl or silyl groups and a vinyl residue. The mixture is in the proportion of 15-25 gram equivalent weight (GEW) percent. The ketone is a cyclohexanone, methyl ethyl ketone or a mixture of cyclohexanone and methyl ethyl ketone. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a lithium polymer battery with a cell that includes an electrode having an electrode mass; and (B) a method for manufacturing a lithium polymer battery.
