<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for evaluating attention paid to contents whereby effects of advertisement media and advertisement programs can more meticulously and accurately be evaluated. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for evaluating the attention paid to contents includes: a system server 200 provided with a passer detection section 202 including a moving region detection section 202a for detecting a moving region from an image photographed by a camera 150 and a person detection section 202b for detecting whether or not the moving region is a person, and provided with an attention paying person detection section 203 including a face detection processing section 203a for detecting the face of the person, and a face angle detection processing section 203b for detecting the angular direction of the face; and a collection center server 300 provided with a passing detection time registration section 302 for registering a face angle detection time of a passer detected by the passerby detection section 202 and a face angle registration processing section 303 for registering a face angle detected by the face angle detection processing section 203b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
