<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for reducing capacity of memory necessary for resolution transformation without using compression processing technique. <P>SOLUTION: Read-out of image data for one screen is started before writing of image data for one screen is completed to an image memory. Without requiring the memory capacity of one screen in an image memory, the input image data can be subjected to resolution transformation to output image data. Especially for an input synchronization signal(periodic V), if an output synchronization signal is delayed by (1/2)V and generated, the image memory can be made half of the capacity for one screen, and thereby the capacity of the image memory can be greatly reduced as compared with a conventional case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
