PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal resistance measuring instrument for measuring thermal characteristics such as thermal resistance and contact thermal resistance while simply and highly accurately measuring electrical characteristics such as contact electrical resistance and bulk electrical resistance. SOLUTION: This thermal resistance measuring instrument is equipped with heating-side and cooling-side rods for therebetween sandwiching a body under measurement for measuring the thermal resistance of the body by causing heat to flow thereinto from the heating-side rod side while causing heat to flow out thereof from the heating-side rod. This measuring instrument is equipped with plus- and minus-voltage measuring terminals connected to the heating-side and cooling-side rods, respectively, and current input and current output terminals connected from positions where the measuring terminals are put to connection to the positions of the heating-side and cooling-side rods distant from the body, respectively.
