PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller for always keeping the air exhaust effect from an end surface of a film roll body constant in winding, without deteriorating wrinkles of an end part, by optimizing an air biting-in quantity in a winding port of a film so that both of wrinkles and sagging in a central part when winding the film and wrinkles and the interlaminar dislocation brought in from a carrying process in an end part, fall within an allowable range. SOLUTION: This roller forms a recessed part on an outer peripheral surface. The film winding pressure contact roller is formed so that the ratio of an area of a recessed part to an area except for the recessed part on an effective outer peripheral surface of both end parts in the rotation axis direction (meaning respective 20% of both ends of the effective surface length) of the roller, becomes higher than the ratio of the area of the recessed part to the area except for the recessed part on the effective outer peripheral surface of a central area in the rotation axis direction (meaning 60% of the center of the effective surface length) of the roller.
