PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel system capable of protecting an engine and components of a fuel system arranged on a dash panel when an excessive force is applied from the oblique front of a vehicle or the front deviated to either side from the center in the vehicle cross direction. SOLUTION: This fuel system for the vehicle engine is mounted with a fuel filter on the dash panel arranged on the backward side of the engine in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle through a filter bracket, where the fuel filter is arranged at the position spaced from a brake booster in the vehicle cross direction, and mounted on the dash panel through the filter bracket which is provided with a protection portion extending in the forward direction of the vehicle, covering the side surface facing the brake booster of the fuel filter. Furthermore, fuel piping is arranged on the downstream side of the fuel filter within a space where both ends of the protection portion in the vehicle cross direction are sandwiched by the brake booster and the filter bracket.
