PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a cleaning member so as to avoid being detached from a cleaning implement main body and to easily attach and detach the cleaning member to and from the cleaning implement main body in a cleaning implement provided with the cleaning implement main body composed of a core part and a flexible projecting part. SOLUTION: In the cleaning implement 10 provided with the cleaning implement main body 13 and a handle par 12, the cleaning implement main body 13 is provided with a core part 14 and the flexible projecting part 15 having two branch parts 15b which can be slid and moved along guiding grooves 17 on both of the sides of the core part 14. At the end on the side of the handle part of the core part 14, an insertion recess part 21 is formed. At the end on the handle side of the branch parts 15b, an outward projecting part 20a holding the cleaning member 11 projecting outward and an inward projecting part 20b projecting inward are provided. The flexible projecting part 15 is moved along the guiding grooves 17 to arrange the inward projecting part 20b at a position of the insertion recess part 21, and a distance between the two branch parts 15b of the flexible projecting part 15 is shortened to release a holding state of the cleaning member 11 by the outward projecting part 20a.
