CONTROL SYSTEM FOR REARING ANIMAL POPULATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively growth control, etc., of a total rearing animal population by computer controlling and managing feeding work and contents thereof appropriate for individual rearing animal. SOLUTION: A photograph device 5 is installed on a border of a resting area 2 and a plurality of feeding areas 3, 4 arranged in a breeding ground 1 for feeding different fodder. The computer is set to automatically estimate the weight of the individual animal body from an image data of the individual animal photographed by the photograph device 5. The weight data obtained in the above are compared with a previously set evaluation criteria and the rearing animal population is divided by introducing them into the predetermined feed area 3 or 4 in the rest area 2.
