The pump has a pump housing, and a pump unit (2) including a pump piston (21) and a pump cylinder (22), where the pump piston is movably arranged back and forth in the pump cylinder. The pump unit is driven by a drive shaft, which is supported in the pump housing. A supply rate of the radial piston pump is adjustable using a continuously variable transmission, which stays in effective connection with a drive shaft (7).
