A data input device equipped with an image display part is provided to display various languages and signs with one keyboard set by including the image display device like an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and reduce manufacturing costs by controlling the image forming devices with one or a few of driving ICs. A plurality of input switches(5) input information by being arranged on a case(1). The image display part(L) displays characters, signs, and images by being installed to the input switches. A controller(3) processes the information by connecting to the input switches and the image display part. Push of the input switch is detected by installing a contact switch or a sensor to the input switches. The controller includes the plurality of data lines/gates connected to the image display part of the input switches, a bus line connecting the data lines and the gates, and the driver IC controlling the input switches by connecting to the bus line. The driver IC exchanges information with a CPU by using an LVDS(Low Voltage Differential Signaling) or RSDS(Relative Sequential Data Set) format.
