发明名称 METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF FLUORESCENT NANOPARTICLE USING LOW TEMPERATURE MICROEMULSION POLYMERIZATION
摘要 A process of preparing fluorescent nano-particles through low micro emulsion polymerization is provided to protect performance of fluorescent dye against external environment, and to produce the nano-particles with uniform distribution thereof by preparing an emulsion of monomer, cross-linking agent and fluorescent dye and conducting polymerization thereof. The process comprises the steps of: (a) introducing (i) monomer composite, (ii) deionized water, (iii) co-emulsifier and (iv) emulsifier in a reactor then agitating the mixture to form an emulsion; (b) UV irradiating at low temperature of -5 to -25deg.C after adding an initiator to the emulsion to synthesize a polymerization product containing fluorescent dye; and (c) diluting the polymerization product in an aqueous medium after washing the product, to produce an aqueous suspension of fluorescent nano-particles containing the fluorescent dye. The produced particles have particle size of 1 to 100nm and polydispersity (Dv/Dn) of 1.0-1.2.
