<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording system which is equipped with two image recording devices capable of independently recording images, and can shift one to a power saving condition and makes the other wait in a state of being able to record on the basis of the operating conditions of the image recording devices. <P>SOLUTION: A bypass transfer route device 5 is arranged in a color image recording device 1 and a transfer route connecting device 6 is arranged between the front of a monochrome image recording device 2 and the rear of the color image recording device 1. The system is equipped with an operating condition monitoring means to monitor the operating conditions of the color image recording device 1 and the monochrome image recording device 2, and a power source control means to control one of the image recording devices so as to shift it to a power-saving condition and control the other so as to make it wait in a state of being able to perform recording on the basis of the operating conditions of the color image recording device 1 and the monochrome image recording device 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
