VEHICLE SEAT EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAG UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat equipped with an airbag unit which increases the fracturing property of a fracture section while suppressing the slipping off of a wire member from a pad member.

SOLUTION: A seat back 10 has the pad member 11, a seat skin 12, an insert wire 13 and a side airbag unit. The insert wire 13 has a vertical embedded section 13a. The vertical embedded section 13a is embedded in a manner to extend in the vertical direction at the boundary section between the central section in the vehicle width direction and the left side end section of the pad member 11. The vertical embedded section 13a has a first embedded section 13c and a second embedded section 13d. In this case, the first embedded section 13c is embedded in a manner to extend in the vertical direction on the bottom section of a groove section 11d at the boundary section. The second embedded section 13d has a vertical section 13e which is embedded in a manner to extend in the vertical direction at a section the distance of which to the bottom surface of the groove section 11d is larger than that of the first embedded section 13c at the boundary section.
