PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide uniformity of luminance of an emission surface of a light guide plate in a plane light-emitting device.

SOLUTION: Multiple cross-sectionally nearly-V-shaped V-grooves 45 are formed on a reflecting surface 42 of the light guide plate 4 of this plane light-emitting device 1. When the light guide plate 4 is divided into N regions in the length L direction, a reflection area S of the V-grooves 45 per unit width in a region of an arbitrary position X generally satisfies formula (1). Formula (1) is a mathematical expression obtained by a geometric optics calculation method, and uniformity of luminance is satisfied by generally satisfying formula (1) by the reflection area S.
