<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing nerve stem cells, a method for producing neurons and a method for screening a substance having appearance-induction action on nerve stem cells, differentiation-promotion action on nerve stem cells, production-promotion action on neurons and differentiation-promotion action on neurons by using the nerve stem cells or the neurons. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing nerve stem cells comprises doing nerve pulling damage to peripheral nerves. The method for producing neurons comprises doing nerve pulling damage to peripheral nerve.
