<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate position detection device improved such that the coordinate position detection device allows easy compensation of parasitic capacity without taking trouble. <P>SOLUTION: This coordinate position detection device has: rough adjustment compensation circuits 21A, 23A each performing rough compensation of the parasitic capacity of a touch panel 36 by connection of an external capacitance in the capacitance coupling type touch panel; and fine adjustment compensation circuits 21B, 23B each performing fine compensation by varying external impressed voltage. Thereby, the compensation of a parasitic capacity component of the touch panel 30, divided in two stages is possible. The parasitic capacity component is roughly compensated by the rough adjustment compensation circuits 21A, 23A, and an amount not capable of being compensated by the rough adjustment compensation circuits 21A, 23A is compensated by the fine adjustment compensation circuits 21B, 23B. Thereby, usability as the panel is improved, and stray capacitance largely varying by a production condition of the touch panel 36, a mounting situation of the touch panel 36, or the like can be easily compensated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
