PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable electrolytic capacitor which is improved in withstand voltage characteristics, thermal resistance, solvent resistance, and wear resistance. SOLUTION: This electrolytic capacitor is provided with a capacitor element 2 configured so that an anode foil to which an anode lead tab is fixed and a cathode foil to which a cathode lead tap is fixed can be wound so as to be overlapped through a separator. The lead 21a of the anode lead tab and the lead 22a of the cathode lead tab are led out of the upper end face of the capacitor element 2, and the whole surface of the lead 21a of the anode lead tab is covered with a coating film formed of furan resin or paraxylene resin.
