PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board and a liquid crystal display apparatus in which the outflow of an adhesive into an aperture of a cover-lay film can be effectively prevented and manufacturing efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: The printed wiring board 10 is provided with a base substrate 11 constituted of sticking copper foil 14 to an insulating substrate 13, and the cover-lay film 12 which is stuck to the side of the copper foil 14 of the base substrate 11 by the adhesive 18 and has the aperture 15 formed so that the base substrate 11 is exposed. An adhesive outflow preventing means 16 is provided for preventing the outflow of the adhesive 18 into the aperture 15 of the cover-lay film 12 when the cover-lay film 12 is stuck to the base substrate 11.
