PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image editing support system, apparatus, method and program capable of easily searching for a piece of image information in which a desired subject is imaged from a plurality of pieces of image information. SOLUTION: An associated information storage means is prepared for storing, in association with position information, a keyword that is associated with a place specified from the position information. Also, image information generated by imaging a subject using an imaging device 3 and the position information generated by measuring the current position at the time of the imaging are stored in association. Next, a keyword for searching for the image information in which the desired subject is imaged is accepted. Depending on acceptance of the keyword, the associated information storage means is referred to and the position information matching the keyword is specified. Based on the position information specified, the image information stored in association with the position information is referred to and the image information stored in association with position information approximating the position information is searched for and extracted.
