PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove the ink accumulated inside a pump and a hose without disassembling an automatic intaglio ink supply device. SOLUTION: The automatic intaglio ink supply device is constituted of an ink can filled with an intaglio ink, an ink supply pump for sucking the intaglio ink from the ink can, a hose which is connected with the ink supply pump and allows the intaglio ink to pass through, and an ink jar for supplying the intaglio ink sucked by the ink supply pump through the hose. In this device, a cleaning gel is sucked by the ink supply pump from a cleaning gel can for cleaning the intaglio ink accumulated inside the ink supply pump and/or the hose, and thereby, made to pass through the hose, through the operation of a piping switching pulp. Further, the accumulated intaglio ink is squeezed out into a recovered ink can by passing the charged cleaning gel through a bypass hose and consequently, the interior of the ink supply pump and/or the interior of the hose are cleaned.
